E-Cycling

Faculty and Staff in VCU Offices:

  • VCU faculty and staff can recycle their printer cartridges through the following methods:

Textile Recycling

In 2013, VCU Fashion Associate Chair Kim Guthrie, contacted the Office of Sustainability for help recycling scrap and excess fabric left over from student projects. This partnership was the first and is still one of only a few fashion school textile recycling programs in the country.

Since that time, the office has partnered with VCU Fashion to recycle over 3,000 lbs of textiles that would otherwise be sent to the landfill!
