What is VCU's diversion rate?

VCU’s diversion rate is calculated by the actual tonnage of plastic, glass, metal and paper recycling, as well as electronics and scrap metal, plus clothing/household donations, cooking oil, surplus property, toner cartridges and wood pallets.

VCU's diversion rate for 2016 was 33.62%

 

How can I recycle if I live off-campus?

Contact the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA), they manage recycling for the city of Richmond.
